Girl Chess Power and Beyond is different from other Girl Power nonprofits. We focus on empowering girls (ages 5 to 18) and encouraging them to be confident and independent and to achieve their own goals by playing chess, volunteering, and acquiring new knowledge. We are aware of how much the principles of chess can help us in our daily lives and prepare us for the future. Therefore, we include chess as part of our empowerment program. As well, our participants are involved in volunteer work and attend seminars and workshops organized by us and delivered by experts in their fields, which prepare them for becoming more well-rounded individuals.
